02Quote requests
Submitting a quote request does not automatically create a contract. After reviewing your request, RITE may:
- provide a fixed price
- provide an estimated or range price
- request further information
- arrange an inspection
- decline or refer work that is outside RITE's scope or competence
03AI-assisted assessment
RITE may use AI to assist with the initial classification and assessment of quote requests. The AI does not independently set the final price or make the final decision. RITE staff review requests.
04Prices
Where RITE provides a fixed price, that price applies to the agreed scope of work, based on the information you supplied.
If circumstances differ materially from that information, RITE may need to revise the scope or price. Additional work will not be carried out without your agreement, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent further damage or address an urgent safety issue.
05Additional work
If additional work is identified that falls outside the agreed scope or fixed price, RITE will explain the additional work and any associated cost before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
RITE will seek your approval before carrying out additional chargeable work.
06Bookings
Appointments are subject to availability. Where the website offers it, you can choose from available appointment times after the relevant quote or booking stage. Your appointment is confirmed once the booking has been confirmed.
07Cancellation and changes
Please contact RITE as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment, by email at hello@riteproperty.co.uk or by phone on 07883 700125.
Any cancellation rights that apply by law are not affected by these Terms.
08Payment
Payment arrangements will be confirmed by RITE before or during the provision of services, as appropriate to the job.
Where payment is due, you must pay in accordance with the payment terms communicated by RITE.
09Access to the property
You must provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed time and help make sure RITE can safely carry out the agreed work, for example by letting us know about any known hazards.
10Scope and safety
RITE may refuse or stop work where:
- the work is unsafe
- the work is outside RITE's competence
- specialist certification is required
- statutory requirements apply that RITE is not authorised to meet
- hidden conditions make the work materially different from what was described
- the property or working environment presents an unreasonable risk
11Gas, electrical, structural and specialist work
Some work, including certain gas, electrical and structural work, may require a suitably qualified or authorised specialist. RITE does not carry out regulated work that requires certification or authorisation it does not hold, and may refer you to an appropriate specialist.
12Materials
Materials may be supplied by RITE or by you, depending on the agreed job.
Where you supply materials, RITE is not responsible for defects inherent in those materials. This does not affect any rights you have by law in relation to the work RITE carries out.
13Workmanship
RITE will carry out work with reasonable care and skill.
Unless expressly agreed in writing for a particular job, RITE does not provide a separate commercial guarantee. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law.
14Your photos and videos
Photos and videos you provide, and photos taken to record completed work, are used for purposes connected with assessing, quoting, carrying out and documenting the relevant work.
RITE does not reuse customer photographs or videos for marketing purposes without separate permission.
15Damage and liability
RITE is responsible for loss or damage caused by its failure to carry out work with reasonable care and skill, where that loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable.
RITE is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, or for pre-existing faults or conditions that the agreed work did not cover.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
16Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact RITE as soon as possible at hello@riteproperty.co.uk or 07883 700125.
RITE will review the issue and work with you to understand what happened and, where appropriate, agree a reasonable resolution.
