02Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website and our services, we may collect:
- your name, email address, telephone number and postcode
- your customer type (for example homeowner, landlord or business)
- your description of the job, and answers to any follow-up questions
- photos and, where supported, videos you upload with a request

- customer account information, such as your sign-in email
- job and completion information, including completion photos
- communications between you and RITE
- other information needed to administer and manage the work you have asked for
The website does not take online payments, so we do not collect card or bank details through it.
03How we use your information
- to understand your request and assess and classify the work
- to decide whether a request is within RITE's service scope
- to provide or prepare a quote
- to arrange appointments and manage jobs
- to communicate with you, including service-related emails
- to complete and document work and keep job and business records
- to handle enquiries and complaints
- to protect the security and integrity of the website and business, including preventing misuse of the quote form
04AI-assisted assessment
When you submit a quote request, information you provide, including your description of the work and photographs or other supporting information, may be processed by a third-party AI service used by RITE to assist with assessing and classifying the request.
The AI system is used as an assistance tool. It does not independently set the final price, approve work or make the final decision about whether RITE proceeds with a request. RITE staff review requests before work proceeds.
05Service providers
We use trusted service providers to help run the website and business. Depending on how you use the website, your information may be processed by:
- Resend, which sends our service emails
- third-party AI processing services that help assess quote requests
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google
- Google services used to load the website typeface, which receive the technical information your browser sends when requesting it
- hosting, database and storage infrastructure used to operate the website and store customer and job information
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place.
06Cookies, consent and how you found us
The website asks for your choice about non-essential technologies, in three categories: Essential (always on), Analytics and Advertising. Analytics and Advertising are off unless you turn them on.
We keep a record of each choice you make: a random identifier stored on your device (not linked to your name), the choices made, the version of the notice shown, and the date and time. We keep this as evidence of your choice.
Without the relevant consent, no non-essential advertising or analytics information about how you reached the website is stored on or read from your device.
If you allow Analytics, we may record how you reached the website (campaign labels in the link you followed, the page you first landed on, and when) and store it with any quote request you send, so we can understand which sources lead to enquiries.
If you allow Advertising, we may also record the Google advertising click identifier included in a link from a Google advert, and store it with your quote request. This lets RITE measure which advertising leads to enquiries and bookings. RITE does not currently send any information to Google for advertising measurement; if this changes, it will only happen with your Advertising consent and we will update this policy. Advertising click identifiers are automatically deleted from our records after 180 days.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing stops further collection straight away.
If you sign in, the website uses technical storage on your own device to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
07Legal basis
We rely on different lawful bases depending on the information and the purpose. These include:
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, such as assessing and quoting for a job
- performing a contract where you have engaged RITE
- our legitimate interests, such as running and protecting the business, where these are not overridden by your rights
- legal obligations, where applicable
- consent, where consent is specifically required or requested
08Sharing your information
RITE does not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers where necessary to operate the website, communicate with you, process quote information, store information or deliver the service you asked for, or where the law requires it.
09How long we keep information
RITE retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including managing enquiries, quotes, bookings, completed work, business records, legal obligations, dispute resolution and the establishment or defence of legal claims.
Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
RITE will review its retention periods as the business develops and will securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to any legal or regulatory requirement to retain it.
10Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to erase your information
- ask us to restrict how we use your information
- object to certain uses of your information
- data portability, where applicable

These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. To make a request, email hello@riteproperty.co.uk.
11Complaints about your data
